Ryan O'Neal and Ali MacGraw's Affair

I know they were/are good friends. But i didn't know they had an affair during Love story shooting when Ali was newly married to Robert Evans.

I never understood Ali McGraws appeal. She’s like shag carpet, turquoise refrigerators and shiny wallpaper. She was one of those 70s things that doesn’t make much sense when you look at it from a different time period. She was a terrible actress. She was clunky and unintelligent. She was dumb enough to become Steve McQueen’s slave. She gave up her career for him and everyone came to their senses while she was gone and went, “Why did we think that was cool?”

Honestly, she couldn't act and her career was going down hill anyway with or without Steve. She was terrible in "Getaway" movie, and people in the theater were so irritated by her presence and bad acting that they cheered and clapped when Steve slapped Ali in the movie.

But I also don't get her appeal at all. But she seems to be a kind and nice woman.

Ali McGraw has a fantastic personal style. I always love seeing what she’s wearing.
